Ooue Co., Ltd.

This project features two original masking tapes, 'Calendar' and 'Novel,' created for Ooue Co., Ltd.

Made possible by Kyoshinsha's long-format printing technology, each design continues seamlessly for more than 10 meters without repeating. The Calendar version functions as a full-year day-by-day calendar, while the Novel version presents an entire story along the length of the tape.

Although Mr. Ooue was confident in the concept, it was difficult to predict demand and allocate a production budget. To bring the project to life, he launched a crowdfunding campaign.

The initial goal was to produce between 300 and 500 rolls, but the campaign greatly exceeded expectations, raising nearly three times its target amount.

Following the campaign's success, several major retailers placed large-volume orders.

In the end, Kyoshinsha produced 2,300 rolls of the Calendar tape and 300 rolls of the Novel tape.
